German specialists from the company Bauer (www.bauer.de), worked on the foundation for two years, while the Swedish company Formulati (www.formulati.com)  monitored the quality. 380 piles were used in the foundation, with the longest reaching 42 meters into the ground. Therefore, the foundation is very solid and able to withstand earthquakes of 7 magnitude. In total, 14 million Euros were spent on the foundation.
